CS04 Scam Emails

 

Many phishing emails use a sense of urgency. For instance, they might tell you that someone has used your credit card to buy something expensive.

When we see that, we’ll panic. This makes us less likely to think rationally and spot the con.

 

No matter how urgent an email seems, it’s always worth taking a step back. Time spent thinking clearly is never wasted.
