CS10 Password Managers

The act of using a password manager also has pros and cons.

While experts agree that it’s incredibly secure when done right, there are a few ways it can go horribly wrong.

You could lose your primary password or password database. If you did that, you might find yourself being locked out of your accounts.

If the potential downsides put you off, it might be best to wait until you know more about the topic.

Using a password manager isn’t necessary to complete this course. If the idea appeals to you, though, the next project will show you how to use one.
