CS10 Password Managers

It’s easier to see this in action, so let’s demonstrate.

This is a database file created using a password manager. This database holds all of our passwords.

When we double click on the database, however, we can’t access it without our primary password.

This keeps our other passwords safe.

Because of the way our password manager works, nobody – not even the creator of the software – can open it without the primary password.
