CS10 Password Managers

After you’ve filled your password database, you can save it wherever you feel is safe.

By this point it’ll contain passwords you might not remember if the database gets lost, or is deleted.

For this reason, the last thing you need to do with the password database is back it up.

Many people back up their database to a private cloud, like Google Drive. That way, a thief will need access to your email account to get it.

As your email account is the core of your online identity, this could be a good idea.

Remember that a thief would also need your primary password to gain access to the database. Otherwise, the database file is useless to them.
