This guide will show you how to secure your email address with a strong, unique password.
First, find a large piece of scrap paper. It doesn’t have to be fancy – just big enough to add to in future.
You can also use the inside of a book you know won’t get lost. This will be where you’ll store your email password.

Some people tell us not to write down passwords.
While there are better ways of storing passwords (and we’ll examine these in later courses), it’s still much safer than reusing a password, or forgetting it, or having a weak one.
The reason for this is that any thieves would need to break into your home to get the password. They’d also need to know where it is, and what to use it for.
