CS03 Choosing Strong Passwords

A man crosses his arms and smiles at the camera

In the last course we told a story about George, a man who had his accounts hacked.

In the end, he only got them back because he used a different, strong password for his email address.

This is because your email is the core of your online identity.

With your email account, a hacker could reset your other passwords, and perhaps try and defraud any bank accounts connected to it.

However, so long as you can access your email, you’ve got a fighting chance of recovering any accounts that have been stolen.
