To stop this from happening, many of us copy information to a “cloud” service like Google Drive or OneDrive. 

 

These services let us store our files online, on storage devices owned by a big company like Apple or Microsoft.

 

Alternatively, we could transfer our files to another device, like a memory stick.

 

These methods are ways of backing up. But what happens when it’s not done to the right standard?
