In the last module, we talked about adding an extra layer of security to our accounts. This means we need something else, as well as a password, for us to log in.

There are multiple ways of doing this, and some are more effective than others. We’ll be going through them one by one.

Remember that using something as well as a password to log in is called 2FA, or 2-Factor Authentication.

As we weigh up the pros and cons of each type of 2FA, remember that any kind of 2FA is better than none at all.

All of your really important accounts, from bank accounts to email addresses, should have 2FA enabled.
